It almost pains us to share this place because we’d selfishly love to keep it a secret. Nestled deep in a narrow alley of the Medina, Riad Berbere isn’t accessible by car. Instead, someone meets you at the Medina’s entrance and guides you through winding streets, turning your arrival into a little adventure.

Behind a discreet, hidden door, you step into a peaceful oasis: a softly lit corridor welcomes you inside, where you’re offered rose water to wash your hands and mint tea served with traditional Moroccan pastries. The riad has only five rooms, each small but beautifully decorated with incredible taste, ours even had a private balcony.

While we didn’t try dinner here, the breakfast was absolutely to die for. Intimate, quiet, and full of charm, this place feels like a true hidden gem amid the buzz of Marrakech.
